What to Expect on a Service Call?
Randazzo employs only the best technicians. We keep our trucks fully stocked with all the parts necessary to repair your broken furnace or A/C. If you need after hours service please be sure to call 888-884-3322 to get a hold of a technician.
Typically, when a customer calls for service they will reach the Randazzo service department to speak with a service dispatcher. The dispatcher will check and see if the customer has any warranties left (based on their home address) and then the dispatcher will advise the service rates to the caller.
Most Michigan HVAC repair companies will often charge a “Travel Charge” or “Diagnosis Fee.” Randazzo calls this fee simply, a “Service Call Fee.” This will be the minimum cost of the repair. It is not recommended to judge a company on how expensive or how cheap their service rates are. In most cases, with larger companies the rates will be higher. This is not because they may have a bigger overhead but because of the quality and preparedness of the service that will be preformed. After the Service Call Fee will typically be a labor charge and then the material or parts cost, if needed.
Some companies charge on a “Flat-Rate” scale. Randazzo does have certain circumstances where we would charge using a Flat-Rate scale. Any type of repetitive repair that we do would normally be a “flat-rate” charge.
The technician will advise the customer of the repair costs prior to completing the repair.
After the repair is complete the proper invoicing and documentation will take place.
